The players are cackling like hyenas, but have they got the European Cup in the bag?
For the past few weeks, the Manchester United team have been dedicating a good ten minutes of every training session to an explosive laughter session. It’s not because Michael Carrick is testing his stand-up material or because Rio just ‘merced’ someone, it’s because they are a team high on confidence. They think they are going to win the Prem (fergie has been casually practising his maths outloud in this morning’s Sun newspaper, saying 85 points will be enough to win it) and they are second favourites to walk away with their second Champions League title in a decade.
Persoanlly, I think today is the best day to back Manchester Utd for a Champs League win. Their price is currently 9/2 (just behind Barcelona’s 7/2), which will surely shorten after the inevitable demolition of Lyon tonight. But do you agree? Get voting!
