It’s Spain’s number one F1 WAG!

If you thought Fernando Alonso’s relationship with ex-teammate Lewis Hamilton was tumultuous, then spare a thought for his on/off girlfriend Raquel del Rosario. The pair met at a Spanish radio station a few years back, and were rumoured to have cemented their love with marriage in 2006. This, however, was never confirmed and they have spent time apart on a few occasions since. At present, their relationship is less stable than Newcastle’s Premiership status, so maybe the stroppy Spaniard will be a little distracted come Sunday?

When she’s not dealing with Fernando’s tantrums, Raquel fronts Spanish pop-rockers El Sueño de Morfeo, or ‘The Dream of Morpheus’. Unfortunately, their songs aren’t dedicated to Laurence Fishburne’s character in The Matrix, but their Celtic tinged hits have been a huge success in her home country.
