Just a few short weeks ago, Chelsea were the team who had crashed out of two cups and who were destined for a forgettable season (by their standards, that is). Now, they have leapfrogged deadlock-lovin’ Arsenal to become second favourites in the title race, and also third favourites to claim a first Champions League title.
Manchester United and Arsenal have yet to visit Stamford Bridge, where both will be charged with breaking Chelsea’s 77 game unbeaten home run. In what is shaping up to be one of the more interesting seasons in recent memory, can the Blues put another twist in the tale by diverting the trophy from its likely Manchester destination?
