LA Galaxy star given opportunity to enter the world of football franchising

In an interview for US show 60 Minutes that has been described as ‘quite boring’ and ‘a little bit dull’, David Beckham revealed that he has an option to buy his own MLS Franchise when his contract with the LA Galaxy expires. Football franchises like the soulless and morally devoid MK Dons are frowned upon in the UK, but over the pond new ‘sawker’ teams are springing up all the time - Seattle, for example, will have its own side from next season. Becks may join in on the profit generating fun from 2011.

In the interview, Mr B also gave us a closer glimpse of his fifteenth tattoo, a picture of his wife dressed like a stripper. Becks claims he uses his tattoos as a means of expressing his emotions, which is a refreshing change from most professional footballers, who normally turn to drinking and Danielle Lloyd for that.
