After a good game at the weekend, Peter Crouch is under no illusions as to whether he’ll be folding his tall frame onto the subs bench for the big Champions League clash against Arsenal - “he is more likely to go with Fernando,” he shrugged after the weekend match, presumably totally correctly.
And, in light of Benitez’s sudden change of rotation policy, he stands little chance of being anything more than a decent sub for next season too. So come the summer, which clubs will be clamoring to get the gangly one on their side? He’s got good feet for a giant, but does anyone need his like any more?
Remember, he’s got a certain lovely Abigail Clancy to keep happy too.

It’s gotta be Newcastle for Crouchy, that’s my feeling. Big man/little man, Keegan would love it! Love it!
