Transfer Talk: Ramos hints at a Ledley King adios

With Berbatov bound for the exit, it looks like Ledley King - aka. Mr Tottenham - could be joining him.

The feeling is that Ramos is going to spend the summer refashioning the team that he inherited from Martin Jol. Rumours have been flying around that Lennon, Huddlestone and Jenas will all be surplus to requirements at the new look Spurs, and now, by not confirming King as next season’s skipper, it looks like the Ramos overhaul is going to be even more gigantic than expected.

And who could blame him?

With Woodgate drafted in, and playing a strong part in the season’s close, why would the Spaniard want two injury-prone central defenders in his squad? The only real hurdle would be discarding a man totally synonymous with Spurs without completely alienating huge portions of the club’s supporters.

Next out - Robbie Keane?

Let Ramos work his magic, and if that means letting Ledley go, so be it. He’s done nothing this season, nothing at all. Woodgate’s better.

A BIG OVERHALL OF SPURS IS VERY BADLY REQUIRED , I DO HOPE MR RAMOS HAS A LOT MORE GUTS THAN JOL AND STAYS COMPLETLY AWAY FROM BLUE EYED RELATIONSHIPS WITH CERTAIN PLAYERS , JOL PLAYED HIS BLUEYES NO MATTER HOW THEY WERE PLAYING WEEK IN WEEK OUT AND A GOOD LOT OF THE BLUEYES CRAWLED TO HIM , THEY WERE THE WORST PLAYERS WE HAD AND WERE BLIGHTING THE CAREERS OF GOOD YOUNG GUYS WHO COULD`NT GET A KICK AND THESE LADS LEFT THE CLUB TOTALLY DEJECTED , NOT WANTED , AND NO EXPERIENCE ON THEIR CV`S . SO I IMPLORE MR RAMOS NOT TO GET SUCKED INTO THE PLAYERS WAG`S AND PLAYERS SCENE IE GETTING SHALLOW INVITE`S FOR TEA AND CAKE`S . COYS !

Jol only wanted the cakes. Not the tea. Or the WAGS
