Frenchman drops hints of a Premier League return
In an interview to be shown on tomorrow’s Football Focus, Barcelona striker Thierry Henry pines for the days he spent in North London. ‘There’s only one team for me in my heart,’ he said in reference to the team he left last June. Rumours are rife that Henry will be a part of Frank Rijkaard’s summer clearance, and he could well be headed for the Premiership. But would Wenger actually have him back? Wouldn’t he better off becoming another weapon in Chelsea’s, er, arsenal?

Nah, Arsenal would never pay £15m+ to bring him back. They could put that kind of money towards someone like Messi…

After what we’ve been going through with finishing this season ,hell yes we could take him back. He’s a finisher of repute.

If his wage demands were reasonable and the xfer fee moderate …and… he were prepared to be more of a bench player then I would take him in a heartbeat. He could still be a match winner, has not lost a lot of pace and would strengthen the squad. If he wants to come back as a regular starter - forget it.

Yeah, he’d have to accept that his role (and pay) has changed. We can’t afford to pay him what we was earning before he left. I’d love to see him become the new Theo, the secret weapon we keep on the bench to break open a tight match. But I don’t think we can let him be the solo starting striker like he was before. Our team was so much more creative after he left and we can’t go backwards.

10mil to buy, 75k per week wages. I dont think it would be about money for him, but he deserves at least that much (if not a little more). You’d have to take him back especially if we sell a couple of dead wood. He’d be injury prone, not as fast, but fuck he could finish. Everyone knocked him for not being a big game player, if anyone noticed this year, we didn’t win the league because we didn’t finish off the shyte teams, we matched it with the chavs and manure.
Anyway, I’d take him, but then again I’m definetly no AW.

He could do the Bergy role - play behind the main striker in the hole. He’ll compliment any of our other strikers - If Barca are reasonable on transfer fees & Titi accepts a new wage less than before - I’ll bring him back fast - he’ll adapt to our system & the league real quick.

We need Henry back, rather pay Henry the amount and sell only these dead useless so called youngsters, who are doing nothing. Henry we need you back, we need wins not loses or draws!!!

Henry has Sciatica and will retire soon - he may play a season in the states but he is too crocked to come back to the arse.
Wenger sold him at the right time and will replace him with another unknown gem.
keep the faith bretheren - in Wenger we trust
