What is wrong with Kevin Keegan? It’s like he’s living in his own secret dream world where the top four teams in the Premier League no longer even exist. He’s already done his twittering and moaning about how they’re killing football, but now it looks like he’s taken to just totally blanking them.

So who are his Premier League heroes? The team he strives to become? Everton.

“They are an inspiration to everyone,” he began, referring to the Merseyside team without even stifling a giggle, “they are together as a team, they play for each other, they are where we want to be.”

Perhaps someone could point Kevin further north in the table where the real inspiration lives? Or would that just blow his mind?

Why do people bother writing this drivel? Keegan is obviously referring to a club with similarly limited resources making the most of what they have got. Clearly Newcastle need to do the same, a fact evidently beyond the writer of this dross. Everton and Newcastle should both beware the mighty Seagulls now that Micky Adams is back ;-)

Bollocks! That’s aimed at the writer to this rubbish, and not you Clorson Seagull.

Is this a joke? I don’t get it. Can someone tell me where the football articles are please?

Utter tosh. Go back to Kickette.com and flick your bean over some ‘baller’ thighs instead positing comment that isn’t even fit for The Sun.

    Arse. ARSE!

I really find it hard to believe that Keegans comments have made such an impact in the World of football.

Yet its not the fact that his comments are not worthy of discussion but that people seem to completely missed the point.

The fact is that with all of the wealth continuing to go to the top 4 then how is anyone ever going to catch them up. Just look at Chelsea they has to spend several hundred million (of someone elses money) to take away Man Utds title - and yet they were already in 2nd!

If you look at the revenue taken from the English teams in the UEFA Cup none of them earned more than £500k !! Yet Man U are to earn at least £30m from the champions league!

What chance do we all have ..?

Anyway the point is that Keegan simply did what he did following reasons:

    1) To calm the level of expectancy of Tyneside after the mad years of smoke and mirrors with the foolish Shepherd at the helm.

    2) To let the fans hear the voice of reason and not the greedy managers weve had recently who seem to want to build us up so that they can take there £3m early and head for the sun.

    3) So that Mike Ashley has no chance to get his hand in his pocket …

    4) and most importantly so that the player can no longer sit there pretending to them selves that they are superstars - theyve taken the pi$$ for too long !!

Time to earn your money boys!

Bye the way I agree - the so called sports journo’s must “love it” when there is half a whiff of a Newcastle United story in the air; this gives them the opportunity to simply lie in bed all day with a box of tissues while watching re-runs of Home and Away.

Tis about time that you journos earned your money too — ya B’stads!!
