Boxing legend is still thoroughly alive

Muhammad Ali

It’s no secret that newspapers produce obituaries long before a famous figure has kicked the bucket: Keith Richards has probably had one prepared since 1976, and Winehouse’s is ready to run any time now.

Conventionally, however, publications will wait until the person is pushing daisies. Yet the pioneering folk at the Courier-Journal in Louisville, USA, have gone ahead and pronounced its most famous son, Muhammad Ali, dead.

FYI, 66-year-old Cassius Clay is alive and relatively-well. Nice work, Courier-Journal!
