It’s hard to enjoy listening to Alan Shearer, everything his says is just so… obvious. Or so we thought. That was before we stumbled across him awkwardly working his way through All Night Long by Lionel Ritchie, complete with a totally unnecessary mid-Atlantic/sometime-West Indian drawl - what the hell? For exactly five minutes he is very nearly entertaining, standing there, hand in pocket, even singing the echo bits from the song. Amazing.
