The real reason for Jermaine Jenas’ recent good form

In the 2007/08 season, Spurs midfielder Jermaine Jenas netted seven goals, produced solid and consistent performances every week and earned his first cap (and goal) in Capello’s England side against Switzerland [that’s his first cap under Capello’s regime, not for England in general - Ed.]. Some blame his transcendence on new manager and mentor Juande Ramos, but others give credit to his girlfriend of six years Sabrina Keogh, a lady who looks jolly smashing in a bikini.

Sabrina was one of the infamous free-spending-team-distracting WAGs from World Cup 2006, and she’s pictured above with bestie one-time Jermain Defoe botherer Charlotte Meares.

When Jenas scored against Wigan last year, his teammates performed Bebeto’s ‘rock the baby’ celebration, in honour of the fact that Sabrina has given birth to their first child, the Sancha Natasha. That may be an unfortunate moniker, but then again Sabrina shares hers with a teenage witch, and her surname is articulated with a similar sound to how a cat coughs up a hairball. Speaking of names, Jermaine Jenas’s dad actually went by ‘Genas’, but changed it by deed poll as he wanted the initials ‘D.J.’

Spoiler bonus: In a rare and honourable move for a WAG, Sabrina actually manages keep away from media exposure most of the time. Therefore, there’s little else about her on the interweb, with the exception of this broody article from Kickette.
