Todays rumours, gossip and damned lies
According to the Daily Mirror, Inter Milan have agreed a fee of £7 million to finally separate Lamps’ lips from his beloved Chelsea badge and bring him to the San Siro. For those of you wondering, that’s approximately 39 per cent of a Gareth Barry at today’s market value…
The Gareth Barry saga latest
Martin O’Neill has asked for a whopping £18 million, but Liverpool insist they won’t go beyond a pathetic £17 million. (That would be the same Liverpool who reportedly rejected a £9 million offer for Peter Crouch from Portsmouth as it was a million short of their demand.)
The Spoiler Truth-o-meter: If you’re willing to pay 17, why not go one more? It’s not like there’s a recession at the moment or anything…
Ronaldinho to Chelsea
If Lampard leaves then Chelsea will have to move quickly to fill their tubby quota. They will be delighted to hear that podgy Barca man Ronaldinho wants to work with Scolari again.
The Spoiler Truth-o-meter: He wants to go, but do Chelsea want him?
Robert Green to Aston Villa
Villa are moving lower down the England pecking order in search of their new goalkeeper, but after enduring Scott Carson and being linked with Paul Robinson, this rumour will come as a refreshing change.
The Spoiler Truth-o-meter: Green won’t move unless one of the big four call
Pablo Aimar to Everton
Aimar is a member of the not-so-elite club of ‘new Diego Maradonas’. His days in La Liga appear to be finished, so Everton are contemplating a £7 million bid (39 per cent of a Gareth Barry once more).
The Spoiler Truth-o-meter: Could happen and is a reasonable price

Why does the spoiler keep weritng about football? I keep trying to give you the benefit of doubt, but you just write absolute sh1t!!
Lamps will be £7.9m (if he goes that is - which Mourinho doesn’t think likely) due to the Webster ruling meaning players over the age of 28 that have less than 2 yrs on there contract can buy out the remainder of the contract and leave, otherwise he would be a £20m player. Portsmouth’s offer for Crouch isn’t only £1m short of their valuation, it was £6m short of their valuation!
I’m not even gonna bother correcting the rest for you, you’re the one getting paid for this not me!
