Ronaldo staying put
After all the nail-biting and knuckle-gnawing, it looks like both Cristiano Ronaldo and his fiercely gelled hair are going to stay in Manchester after all. Sir Alex Ferguson says they had some gently whispered clear-the-air talks, and now everyone just wants to go back to how it was. Back when they were in love. Or maybe not? Spanish paper AS claims Fergie told Ronaldo that he can join any club but Real Madrid. Who to believe?
Keane joining Liverpool within 48 hours
The all-seeing, all-knowing reporters of the Liverpool Echo claim that Robbie Keane will complete his move to Liverpool within the next 48 hours - that’s two days to you and The Spoiler. Or football code for at least a month.
Henry gets emotional
Thierry Henry (pictured with his iPod) came close to blubbing after being crowned Arsenal’s greatest player of all time in a stupid poll. “I’ll always be a Gooner in my heart,” he lied.
