Clearly everybody wants a piece of the PFC Kuruvchi action
Arsenal fans who scoffed at yesterday’s suggestion that Cesc Fabregas may be joining Barcelona in the future may want to consider a thin slither of humble pie with their coffee this morning, as the Spanish super sub has followed in the footsteps of Samuel Eto’o and travelled out to give a master-class to Uzbekistani side PFC Kuruvchi.
Joining him were Barcelona Spain teammates Andreas Iniesta and Carles Puyol, and judging by the pictures above, the Tashkent side were handing out honorary degrees from the University of Madeupsville to try and persuade the Spaniards to stay.
Over to the barely-readable scrawlings of our friends at PFC:
Spain national team players Andreas Iniesta, Carles Puyol and Cesc Fabregas shown master-class today in MHSK stadium. As yo know “Quruvchi” PFC have already organised master class with Cameroon national team player Samuel Eto’O and today Uzbek football fans could see master class with Spain football stars. As you can seen on photos boys who study in “Quruvchi” PFC football school were very glad to see world football stars and master class was very useful for them too.
Obviously, the common thread that tiess these players is Spain, but the Barcelona link is also quite prevalent, particularly as Fabregas replaced Xavi on the trip to the former Soviet nation.

Such a piece of bull!! These journalist nincompoops would fall to any degree just to make a good headline!
Obviously the common link is ’spain’ and not ‘barcelona’!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If Gerrard and Ferdinand join Terry and Lampard to play an England friendly against, say, Russia, would you paint them as joining Chelsea??
This article and the reporter is utter non-sense and ultimate waste of time and space!!!!
GET A LIFE!!!!!!!!!!

But this isn’t Spain playing a friendly against Uzbekistan is it? Different set on circumstances.

10 not Brit // Jul 22, 2008 at 11:40 am
again stupid comments by Brits.. why do u guys need to show how stupid u are.
If you were following thespoiler.co.uk and other news, earlier they reported PFC Kuruvchi have signed contract with FC Barcelona to develop Uzbek football. And was reported that Iniesta, Puyol and Xavi will come to show master-class. But instead Fabregas came, as of family circumstances of Xavi…So there is very logical question - Why did Fabregas of Arsenal came to Uzbekistan with Barca guys..Kuruvchi had contract with Barca, not either Spain or Arsenal.

even i normally defend this site but this is a step too far imo. as pretty much everyone else has pointed out the obvious link with these players here is clearly spain and not barca. im a united fan (i know boos and hisses all around) but even i know fabregas loves arsenal

thanks ‘not brit’ for pointing out the obvious to the brit dolts who’ve bothered to comment. i was a barca-kuruvchi tie-up not a spain-uzbek tie-up. therefore its only natural that whenin place of xavi cesc(of arsenal but formaerly of barca… meaning he loves the club that made him) should join the barca squad our eyebrows are raised. but this transfer news seems too good to be true. cant quite believe that the french wuss wenger has lost his strange hold over cesc. but if he comes back it’ll be AMAZING. image cesc, messi, pique n bojan all on one field. BARCA YOUTH MAGIC BEGINS……
