Students, why waste time studying? These days you can take glitzy shortcuts and still get your degree. Look at Steven Gerrard, he’s been to hardly any lectures, and yet he’s just been awarded with an honorary fellowship from Liverpool John Moores. All he had to do was get really good at football, then captain Liverpool to European glory. Easy.
Standing outside Liverpool’s Anglican Cathedral, holding a telescope with man who may or may not be Harold Shipman, he couldn’t be happier.
