Today’s rumours, gossip and damned lies

Dimitar Berbatov to Manchester Utd

Spurs will demand a further £4 million for Dimitar Berbatov just because they are upset that the press told everyone a deal was imminent, according to the Daily Mirror. Maybe they picked up this shrewd fiscal technique from Charlton, who somehow managed to drive Darren Bent’s price up to £16.5 million…

Frederic Kanoute and Andrei Arshavin to Tottenham
It’s not time for mourning at White Hart Lane because they are already busy plotting which big names they will bring in to replace the sulking striker. Arshavin is still high on the wish list and Kanoute is also linked with a return to the club.

The Spoiler Truth-o-meter: It could happen; Kanoute has played for Spurs and worked with Ramos

Roque is going to stay
Paul Ince insisted he would do his utmost to keep David Bentley and failed but Blackburn are adamant that Roque Santa Cruz is going nowhere. The club confirmed that they have rejected an offer from Man City and have told Mark Hughes to go pick on someone else.

The Spoiler Truth-o-meter: Blackburn can’t afford to lose another star

Barry’s dream is over
Gareth Barry will kiss goodbye to his dream move, for a year at least, by playing for Aston Villa in the UEFA Cup tonight. That would prevent him playing in the Champions League until February. Considering how highly Rafael Benitez values the competition, this could end his chances of joining this summer.

The Spoiler Truth-o-meter: It looks like Martin O’Neill will come out of this saga victorious

“…..according to the Daily Mirror”, and therein lies your answer. Cr@p website, cr@p rehashing from cr@p papers, and cr@p story. Well done.

Are all the “writers” on this site Arsenal fans? I won’t be visiting this site again no matter how many good looking WAGs they show pics of. Plus the site takes about 4 days to render a page

Bizarre reason? Anyone apart from Man U fans would be happy the price is rising. No one wants Man U to be better.

But otherwise I agree with DanDY.

Spurs fans are so sensitive! It’s just reporting a story from a crappy tabloid, what’s the problem?
And there’s a story on the homepage defending David Bentley, does that make them Arsenal fans too?! Stop being so defensive.

Never heard such shite in all my life. This website is run by a bunch of jokers…honestly guys, go and get a job rather than thinking up bollox to write…or worse, stealing from other peoples made up nonesense.

Funny - my understanding of the story was that Spurs were raising the asking price because UNITED had said that a deal was close; NOT that SPURS had said that a deal was close.

    DOH

Spur have not put the price up at all, if Spurs where to get 32 mil it would be 3 mil than they have stated as the price if Berbs is sold to a team in the prem….. so acttualy Spurs are lowering there price, how about you do a little research & fact checking before you write such crap, …… & if your excuse is that you are only quoting the DM, then you should base your article on how crap their journalism is ……

It’s all just becoming boring !

If you want your site to be taken serously try to write something genuine & well researched, you might be amazed at the respect you get, even when people don’t agree, Quality is for ever ….
Crap is just plain & simple Crap !
