Craig Bellamy to Man City
Rumours that the West Ham board are trying to force Alan Curbishley’s resignation heightened this morning when Sky Sports reported that Manchester City are in talks over Bellamy, who has started just eight games for the club. Curbs has played down speculation, but did the same with Anton Ferdinand before being forced to admit defeat.

Shaun Wright-Phillips to Man City
Over the weekend all the talk was that Chelsea’s winger was going to become Everton’s first new arrival of the summer, but now former club Manchester City appear favourites to complete his £9 million capture.
The Spoiler Truth-o-meter: A return to Manchester might see Wright-Phillips rediscover his best form
Stephen Ireland to Blackburn
Despite excelling in Manchester City’s 3-0 thrashing of West Ham, Stephen Ireland could be ushered towards the exit to make room for Bellamy and Wright-Phillips. Paul Ince has apparently bundled together £3 million for the midfielder.
The Spoiler Truth-o-meter: Though he has a habit of inviting controversy, he would be a great signing from a football perspective
Kevin Doyle to Aston Villa
The Irish striker’s scoring ratio of one goal in 27 games for club and country wasn’t helped when he missed a penalty against Charlton this weekend but that hasn’t stopped Aston Villa from preparing a £7.5 million bid for his services.
The Spoiler Truth-o-meter: The potential is there but the price is too high
