Two games in and several clubs are showing signs of trouble
Anyone who regularly indulges in a nutritious breakfast will agree that there is nothing more important than getting off to a good start. Chelsea and Liverpool have done exactly that in the 2008/09 campaign by claiming a brace of victories, but others have not been so lucky. Tottenham have waved goodbye to six points they should have claimed, Arsenal are suffering for their tiny squad and Curbs is doing little to help his odds at winning the sack race.
So which club should be most disappointed with their start to the season? Let us know with a vote and comment below.

Arsenal - top 4, bottom 4 more like it

Spurs always start badly these days but what can you expect when you’ve only got one striker who was a reserve last season.
I think we’re far worse off right now. We’ve gone from playing amazing football first-half against Wigan to losing without having a shot on target against Man City.
That’s not even the main concern though. Zamora, Ljungberg and Ferdinand all sold without the manager’s approval and now potentially Bellamy too and yet nobody seems to be arriving to replace them.
The way West Ham’s board are treating Curbs now reminds me of how Spurs treated Jol a year ago but at least when that was all said and done their board sacked Jol - ours are trying to force Curbs to walk to avoid paying him off.
Ljungberg can walk off having never cared for millions of pounds but a dignified man who cares for the club and has met every target set may walk away with nothing - it’s terrible.

I dont know. I really dont. I’m going to let myself ‘rot in the reserves’ as punishment for not seeing this coming.

It has to be Tottenham, after showing so much promise in pre-season they’ve flounded at the wrong time. Hopefully for them they’ll get at least 2 decent strikers, One of the Russians they keep getting linked with and maybe someone like Hesky.
Arsenal have injuries to key players and a squad that can only be described as thin.
Portsmouth have two defeats, but they did come against Chelsea and Man Utd. Did they really expect anything better? Portsmouth had an awful pre-season, and have got rid of two of there best players in Sulley Muntari and Pedro Mendes. Bringing in Younes Kaboul and Peter Crouch just shows what an over rated manager Harry Rednapp is. I really think they’ll suffer this year.
