Bulgarian buys train ticket. Or does he?
According to the Manchester Evening News, the big scoop is that Berbs could be taking his back-combed haircut and twenty cigs to Man City, not United. With the red side of Manchester not budging on their humongous £25 million offer, and the blue side now swimming in money, the Bulgarian could yet be involved in the “story of the decade” (according to Sky Sports News). It’s a bold statement, and also a little incorrect - Britney shaving her head was the story of the decade, just ahead of the war in Iraq and Beckham’s neck tattoo.
Also, City’s bid of £28 million still wouldn’t crack the £30 million Tottenham are demanding.
