Brazilian man-o’-sex angers fiery Chelsea gaffer
One person who won’t be joining the queue at Eastlands for a fresh Robinho number 10 shirt is the newly-minted Brazilian’s mentor and Chelsea manager, Felipe Scolari. Big Phil was under the impression that Robinho was eager to come and play for him at Stamford Bridge, and was bitterly disappointed to discover that it was actually the money that Robinho was after all along.
According to Marca, Scolari called Robinho to share his thoughts:
“I went out on a limb for you, I got a great contract for you at Chelsea, but you let me down. You don’t do that.”
Coach Scolari held back slightly on his bollocking in order to have some left over for Robinho’s agent Wagner Ribeiro for considering another offer when he’d already given his word to Chelsea.
He even managed to squeeze out a last drop of indignation for Roman Abramovich, for not finding the extra few million that would have secured Robinho’s ridiculously expensive services.
Scolari now has ten days to plot his revenge and work on an evil cackle before Chelsea visit Manchester City a week on Sunday.

Dave - Thanks for your contribution; insightful, profound and articulate in equal measure…

Scolari would… and should be more annoyed with Peter Kenyon. Over the years Chelsea have wasted awful amounts of money for average players. Yet the only big deal Scolari wanted this summer couldn’t be reached over £4 million? He’d have every right to be angry.

Dave- whilst you may be the latest with new money you will not get in CL for a few years yet. We were already in there & winning cups before RA turned up & his cash helped us move up a notch or two. Citeh on the other hand, require a hell of a lot more before they can realistically hope to challenge for top 5, never mind top 4.

As a massive chelsea fan i wish Robinho all the best at Man City, shame they will never win anything. There is unfortunaley only one club in Manchester andit isnt them. I guess fuel prices will be soaring once more so that Man city can try to match the premier elite 4 clubs. Come on man city fans wakey wakey

uh you guys do know that Real Madrid rejected Chelsea last minute improved offer. they never wanted him to go to Chelsea. it was man city or nothing and he chose man city.
and why not? it was a good deal and two Brazilians are already there (elano and jo).
Real Madrid wanted Robinho to be a make-weight in the Ronaldo deal. when they failed to get Ronaldo they went back to Robinho with “only joking! we love you really!”. Robby didn’t buy that bullshit and wanted out to one of their biggest rivals.
Calderon is a muppet, but Kenyon is even more of a muppet for not outbidding Man City for a player that they clearly REALLY wanted. it gave Madrid license to turn them away.
also, when interviewed, the fat shake said he got the asking price of Robinho from Chelsea’s loud transfer negotiations. if Chelsea had conducted themselves with decorum and secrecy, no one would even know the asking price for Robby. they just assumed no one could outbid them for him. turns out that hadn’t added the “shake” factor. ahaha
so what are you Chelsea fans going to do with your Robinho shirts? my friend used his to ine his dog’s basket.

If Anthony could cunduct himself with a little more decorum he,d know that not one Robinho shirt was ever sold

Anthony i actually thought you were making some reasonable points until i got to your little shirt comment, at which point any credibility of your post was blown away by your complete and utter ignorance of the situation.
Well done, it’s not easy to go from sensible to moron in a few paragraphs.

Now other media reproduces Marca’s ‘news’. This is hilarious! Marca lies all the time, just look at the new. How do they know that Scolari called Robinho? Do they intercept phone lines?

LOL, my friend got his name and number printed. No lie. What a waste of money. I told him to wait.
He thought he was being clever, just like you Chelsea fans right now.
oh dear.
Anyways, Robby will do well where ever he is. he’s talented. he will likely have a first season like C.Ronaldo’s 2nd (if that makes sense), where he does a million step-overs and loses the ball. That is until Mark Hughes puts a rocket up his arse and he learns to balance the trickery with passing.
By the way, if Man City don’t win anything this season I’m betting a follow-up bid from Chelsea next summer could be met with eager eyes from Robby. Wish Man City the best of luck though. Someone needs to break up the top four’s comfort zone and it won’t be my Spurs :(

youve got verbal diorreah anthony. Fact is chels are better off without this loser. In brazil they donr regard him as they do kaka or ‘Dinho or big Ron. In fact he is known for dissapearing against big teams and in the recent qualifier against argentina dunga was spotted by telephoto lenses telling his assistant that “robinho looks scared” dunga hauled his ass off soon after. So this in fact is what chelsea have bought. Looks like the jokes on them…and you mate.

Andrew, I have to agree. Harry Redknapp is without doubt, the most over rated manager in the premiership.

didn’t he just win the FA cup? i agree that he talks the talk though. what’s he gonna do when he’s england manager? sign a bunch of Africans? it doesn’t work like that harry.
