Normally the kind of comment that would have the fans up in arms, totally seething, and yet the gentlemanly supporters from Newcastle Upon Tyne seem happy to agree.
A light peruse about their many messageboards reveals a barrage of posts saying things like: “Given has given is best years to us, and if I’m being honest, I think most of our players would conclude it would be best to leave us right now.”
And: “I totally, like, think he should go, like.”
But should he? Should Given actually go? And would Newcastle still love him if he did?

p.s. If you would be so kind as to stop making up such drivvel that us geordie’s are in some way drawn to like a southerner to a nursery ryhme in an attempt at creating colloquilism that you would otherwise not get, we would all greatly appreciate it. We understand people laughing at the current affairs surrounding our club as it is for want of a better word ‘laughable’, but you remind me of the boy at the back of the class repeating a joke with a hint of a twist to it just as the laughter from the original fades out, to at the most muted laughter… Like!

As a Geordie i would recomend all players seek a Tranfer from the Club as the Owners stated, Everyone is for Sale,Bring Ashley Down and stop stabbing Kin Kev in the Back by Going to the Matches..

Given certainly wouldn’t look out of place at any of the top clubs in Europe.

You’d have to be blind or stupid to suggest that Given couldn’t take there places.
