Bristol City’s showboating striker Lee Trundle has never played in the Premiership, but in 2007 he entered the WAG top flight via his alliance with Atomic Kitten popstar Liz McClarnon. The couple were united by their mutual appreciation of Everton FC, but sadly their eternal flame extinguished in November 2007 and they went their separate ways.

After the artistic peak of her nuclear cat band (which scholars argue is around 2003), Liz affirmed her ‘celebrity’ status by appearing on Celebrity Love Island and also winning Celebrity Masterchef. Last week, she revealed that she is in talks with publishers about her forthcoming novel (about her experiences of being in a girl band) and she says she would also like to ‘work with food’.
