Either someone hasn’t spent enough time thoughtfully studying a dictionary, or some Newcastle fans chose to go with the medieval spelling of “boycott”. We’re not sure which.

Don’t tell me you’ve just noticed after all this time-that was days ago-old news now.
So the bloke couldn’t spell boycott-so what? why make such a big deal out of nothing?

Not only a week behind the news but ignorant too.
There wasn’t a medieval spelling of boycott. It is a 19th. century creation.
And in any case it was a pun - a play on boycott and out! (Well, maybe!)
