It’s West Ham, according to new blog
The fact that a website exists where users simply submit pictures of stuff on top of their cats pays testament to the fact that anyone can set up a blog for absolutely any cause. In the spirit of sharing valuable information on the internets, one man, presumable a West Ham fan, has dedicated an entire blog to potential Premier League investors, claiming their money would be better used at Upton Park than any other football club in the country. Their mission statement is as follows:
An analysis of why West Ham United offers the best investment opportunity in English football; reviewing: talent production, Olympic Stadium prospects, proximity to London’s financial districts, large and passionate fanbase, high media profile, strong tradition & brand, consolidated private ownership, catchment size and growth potential.
Persuasive post highlights include ‘Bigger online than Chelsea‘ (based solely on the official sites), ‘West Ham can become bigger than Chelsea‘ (based solely on comments by Iranian businessman Kia Joorabchian) and ‘Fanbase bigger than Chelsea’s‘ (based solely on attendances from 1981 to 1994). If any Sheikhs have great big piles of money burning a hole in their palaces, they’d be foolish not to take heed of these compelling arguments.

A laughable embarrassing piece of cringe-worthy self- whoring.
And I am a West Ham fan!
‘Please Mr Rich Arab, buy my club and some silverware, I will be ever so grateful’
Whoever engineered this is clearly the kind of new breed fool who have turned my once proud club in to a shambolic laughing stock and is the epitome of everything that is wrong with football today.

Unfortunately Ryan we have already gone down that route but, typical West Ham, we have managed to get saddled with the poorest multi millionaire out there who has started asset stripping less than two years in to ownership.
If you want to even survive in the Premiership pretty soon you are going to have to have vast resources.
I am tired of West Ham proudly producing some of the finest youth products in this country only to see them snapped up by our rivals before seeing them do the business in the claret and blue - If Arab or Indian money is what it takes, bring it on.

Yes, you are in fact right Ryan.
We have truly sunk to new depths when it comes to begging for a new sugar daddy. Not very dignified is it? And not West Ham at all. Nah, I’d expect this sorta behaviour from desperate Chelsea or Geordie fans.
Next some Hammers will be saying they’re happy to have Chelsea legends running the show……..*double-takes*
Is this the article written by Ironballs on kumb by any chance? Cos he sounds like a right nerdy pleb. Fancy going to such great lengths only to be laughed at. I wonder, has AbiDabi got in touch yet? Ffs

I could not care less about The Prem Martin.
It’s a farsicle league, with the so called ‘big 4′ winning everything and the rest fighting over their scraps.
A league where clubs don’t win trophies, they buy them.
It’s never bothered me playing 2nd division football before and it most certainly won’t should it happen again.
Do you honestly believe a foreign consortium would give a damn about our academy or any local talent?
I agree that our current owner has been a disgrace, inept at running the club and spouting false, empty promises.
Alas with top flight football as it is, a magnet for greed with total disregard for it’s club’s loyal fans who have been priced out of the game.
I see nothing other than clubs outside the ‘bore 4′ struggling and the odd rich Arab buying a club like Man City as his little play toy until he gets bored.
For me, I’ve had enough.

I agree with everyone above. We tried the foreign owner method and besides saving us from relegation it’s been pretty disastrous and left us with liars like Duxbury running the club so why ask for another one!
The Everton fans seem to give Bill Kenwright stick for not having deep enough pockets but I envy the fact that they are run by a man who cares about the club, understands the club, invests as much as he can and stands by his manager rather than undermining them. Not sure they realise how lucky they are.
Of all the leagues foreign owners I think Randy Lerner is the only one you truly wouldn’t have any objections about running your club. He supports O’Neill in the transfer market, they buy British and he doesn’t appear to meddle much. But that’s one out of eight or nine so it’s definitely an exception.
I don’t want us to just become another arrogant, jumped-up Big Four team who are only where we are because of the money - going to entertaining games with a great atmosphere is what football is all about and it makes the occasional cup run or feats like becoming the last team to win at Highbury (first and only at Emirates) mean a hell of a lot more than if you’re a club like Chelsea who expects and demands it.

I have a feeling that West Ham will be bought by arabs and although a Chelsea fan and proud of it the prospect of them being bought by rich arabs does frighten me.
We have Roman who has been fantstic for us but I feel we need someone with more money than him to remain No1.
