One side of North London, prepare to feel blue
As human beings, we use zany words like “hope” and “luck” to protect ourselves from the hideous truth provided by horrible things like facts and history. And unfortunately for the kindly people of North London, their Tottenham Hotspur team is already on borrowed time in the Premier League, with statistics showing that the bottom team at this stage of the season has been relegated six times in the last six years.
Of course, they will be hoping for a better run of results, and should have luck on their side etc…
Oh dear.

Journalist presents an interesting statistic to Spurs fans…Spurs fans respond with abuse.
What exactly are you angry about Spurs fans, it’s a perfectly legitimate fact? If it cheers you up, the last club to be bottom after five games and stay up were my club :)

I don’t know why Spurs fans get so wound up by this……is this not a fact…..teams generally do get relegated when they are so woeful at this stage but West Ham (my club) didnt so stop whingeing.
Its a fact that Spurs have had a woeful start….what are you getting so naffed off about…thats the problem with Spurs fans, they seem to see games through a pair of glasses that shows them to be in the Champions League places all the time.
Lighten up !

Spurs beat little more than Championship side Newcastle in a poxy carling cup game and suddenly they are ‘on the road to recovery’. Spurs’ season is already over - if they improve on last season’s 11th spot now they’ll be lucky. Spurs seem to forget that the otehr teams in the league want to win too - and club’s like midlesborough, sunderland and wigan are run better

Mark…….that was very constructive….where are spurs positioned now ??????
Lucky they played a team that had shipped 10 goals in two games otherwise….oh sorry I forgot…..you lost again and never came close to scoring :o)
