Basketballer wins a game with final throw of overtime
Things couldn’t have been any closer in last night’s basketball game between the Houston Rockets and the Portland Trail Blazers: in the final second of overtime (that’s American for “extra time”), the former were winning 99-98. Then, Portland’s Brandon Ray (American for “Barry Raymond”) fired in a thirty-yard-three-pointer as the buzzer (American for “final whistle”) went, stealing a result for his team. It was super awesome (”jolly splendid”).
