Clubs are queueing up to sign the Newcastle hitman
Michael Owen’s contract at Newcastle is due to expire at the end of this season, and the 28-year-old is free to begin discussions with other clubs in the new year. Interim manager Joe Kinnear is doing his best to persuade the England star to stay, but admits the player is “spoilt for choice” when it comes to selecting a new side. Aston Villa have emerged as the latest club interested in his signature, but Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester City have all been rumoured to want the charismatic striker.
So, where should he go? Let us know with a vote and comment below…

Owen would benefit highly from joining either Villa or Man City. Both have very good managers and are both pushing in the right direction despite both clubs suffering a blip in form recently. I think with the way the Martin O’Neill likes to play though, Owen would fit in very well at Villa

Newcastle is a far better club than any of those mentioned, so why should he leave?

The prodigal son of Liverpool should return to Anfield to attempt and reclaim his throne from the Kop’s new prince Nando Torres. Benitez has the power to end Owens exile and bring him back home and the prospect of a Torres and Owen partnership is interesting.
