O’Neill’s men could capitalise on the Professor’s downfall
With Arsenal looking less reliable than an Italian car, Aston Villa could become the first team outside the ‘Big Four’ to finish in the top four since 2004/05, when Everton edged ahead of their Mersey rivals.
If the midlands side best Manchester Utd at the weekend, they could leapfrog into third place. Meanwhile, Hull could leave the Gunners adrift in sixth place if they win at Fratton Park.

No. They had a few highs last year - beating Chelsea, drawing at the Bridge, Emirates and Anfield - but also lost at home to teams like Wigan and Sunderland. This year will be the same and I think Everton will come fifth.

im an everton fan an i wish aston villa luck in breaking the top four because if it wasnt us then i hope it is them. but everton can always do it ;)
