The very latest transfer rumours, gossip and damned lies
He may have “checked out” already, but in less than three weeks time, Former Arsenal captain and RVP hater William Gallas should get the opportunity to move on. Here’s the latest contender for his signature…
William Gallas to Juventus
The stroppy Frenchman is reportedly on his way out of Arsenal, with Juventus the current favourites to snap him up. Juve boss Claudio Ranieri - the man who originally brought Gallas to the Premier League when Chelsea boss - could land him for as little as £3 million.
The Spoiler Truth-o-meter: Wenger is very difficult to read: sometimes he is ruthless in his dismissals (like in the cases of Patrick Viera and Gilberto Silva) and at other times he stands by players for too long - Denilson and Eboue cases in point. Whatever happens, expect to see both departures and new arrivals at the Emirates come January.
Stuart Downing to Tottenham
Harry Redknapp is reportedly interested in Boro’ winger Stewart Downing and Gareth Southgate is thought to want £7 million plus Gareth Bale in exchange.
The Spoiler Truth-o-meter: If Boro are willing to sell Downing it is likely that clubs such as Aston Villa and Liverpool are interested. Gareth Southgate will be very reluctant to sell Downing unless he can find a suitable replacement so if the deal does go ahead, the inclusion of Bale could be key.
Didier Droga to Inter, Adriano to Chelsea
Inter manager Jose Mourinho has indicated a move away from Italy might be a good idea for Adriano, whose frequent partying has ruffled feathers in Milan. Mourinho has also publicly announced his admiration of Le Drog, who he targeted in the summer.
The Spoiler Truth-o-meter: While Adriano’s departure from Inter looks imminent, it is more likely he will return to Brazil with Flamengo interested in reuniting him with new signing (fat) Ronaldo [Ronaldo was destined for Flamengo but eventually signed for Corinthians - tip of the hat to Simon for spotting our carelessness]. Numerous reports have stated Drogba is unhappy at Chelsea but don’t expect him to be allowed to leave the club in January.

I think you’ll find Ronaldo (the fat, transvestite-loving *alledgedly* one) has signed for Corinthians…so Flamengo’s attempt to link him up with (fat, alco *alledgedly*) Adriano wont quite work out…might wanna get yourselves some proper researchers boys!! :-)
