Tottenham fan makes controversial/ arrogant statement
In a recent Spoiler recently survey of all twenty Premier League clubs, nineteen said it would be absolutely hilarious if Tottenham went down this season.
Spuddy, a member of the White Hart Lane faithful posting on this site, however, believes it is his club’s sovereign right to have a place in the top flight:
Spurs are a really big club and relegation just cannot be allowed to happen. The Premier League should save clubs like Tottenham as the Premier League wouldn’t exist without big clubs like us. That may sound arrogant but who wants to watch the likes of Stoke, West Brom, Middlesborough, Sunderland etc?
Would the Premier League really be a worse place without Spurs? Sunderland fans, are you happy with the assessment that Tottenham are a big club and you are not? Let us know below.

I am a Spurs fan and to be honest if we play crap we deserve to get relegated same as any club!!!! No club is to big to go down. No fans like it or wants it for their club but tell that to the players who put in half hearted efforts.

Sunderland are a bigger club than Spurs and get better support FACT!

You’re spinning an entire piece out of one mindless bit of drivel posted by one moron??
This really does smack of a desperate attempt to start a ruck between sets of fans.
Light on content today are we?
I’m a Spurs fan, and if any other team was putting out the kind of performances we have been this season, we’d say they don’t deserve to be in the Premiership. Spuddy is clearly a deluded mentalist.
Will you now make an article about this Spurs fan being non-arrogant and talking common sense?
This really is a shite website, you know. Well, the design’s okay, it’s just the content is beyond apalling.

Now Black Cat, you just made yourself look a right arse. Sunderland never have and never will be a big club. Dream on kiddo

Anyone posting after this, don’t rise to this idiot’s drivel. This is a deliberate attempt to wind up fans & increase traffic for his flagging site.
Just leave him to his small world, sitting in front of the keyboard at his Mum’s house in his underpants.

i just saw him at your mum’s house - in his underpants.
Mesmo - you are experiencing all you deserve. Levy’s unbridled ambition and greed has driven spurs to humiliate one great manager (jol) and undermine another (ramos), now you’re stuck with Harry. Oh dear. and we’re not supposed to laugh?

Eastwood, I always type in my underpants… Just in case you come round.
I’m not questioning Spurs f**k Up’s, I just want to see some decent journalism rather than these constant half-arsed attempts to bate people into hitting their site, purely to increase their web banner revenue.

That’s hilarious. It sounds like the United Auto Workers Union here in the states. “The auto companies are too big to fail.” It was a slap in the face of small business owners here and that comment is a slap in the face to any team who has made it to (or stayed up in) the Premier League. You have to earn the right every year.

LOL, Spurs ‘big club’ ? when’s the last time they won the league again? wasn’t it somethin like 1961? colour TV wasn’t even around then and The Beatles were unknown, ‘big club’ my ****!.
The term ‘too big to be relegated’ is pretty stupid, just look at Manchester United who were relegated in 1975 just seven years after winning the European Cup, same goes for Forest in the 1990s, and Leeds United in 2004, relegated just three years after reaching the Champions League semi-final’s, if Spurs play as bad as they are doing now, then yes they deserve to go down, and rightly so.

Christ, and people wonder why others hate us Spurs fans. Buddy, shut the fuck up - if we go down, it’s because we’re shit. We’re not ‘too good/big to go down’.

sell sell sell, buy buy buy… what an amazing transfer policy - get a load of players that used to play for us but now commentate to coach, and but back loads of the players that used to play for you when you were half decent. genius. at least you dont need expensive scouting networks… keane and defoe - genius; oh, except they never played together anyway. How much for berbatov?
