How not to react to a terrible blunder
When Bragantino visited São Paulo in the Brazilian Paulista Championship last Thursday, home goalkeeper Rogerio Ceni pulled of epic proportions. Those in the crowd who mocked the 35-year-old for his inability to catch a mis-fired cross were soon silenced, as the poor old chap descended into some sort of breakdown.
Medics tried everything to help (prodding him, waving a magic sponge in his face), but the inconsolable shot stopper could not be cheered up. As far as we’re aware, he’s still laying on the pitch now.
If Heurelho Gomes had reacted like that to mistakes, he would have spent most of the season sitting down in tears.

According to the commentators, the guy had just come out of an injury and was just “feeling” it again. Not exactly a breakdown, or at least a convenient excuse for one…
