A fan of Czech footballers and cheesy phtography

Not only do the Czechs insist on using a crazy unpronounceable accent-filled language, but they also have an obsession with bizarre couple’s photoshoots. We’ve already seen the efforts of Tomáš Ujfaluši and his wife Kateřina, and now FC Sochaux striker Václav Svěrkoš and his wife Jana Pavelková are at it.

The only other images of Jana on the interweb feature her baby daughter Nina. This isn’t the sexiest thing in the world, but it lends itself to a touching story: Svěrkoš was the opening goalscorer of Euro 2008, and celebrated by pointing to the sky and kissing a tattoo on his arm. The tattoo reads “Forever in my heart” and is dedicated to the child he and Jana lost. Since then, Nina was born and they are taking every opportunity to show her off.
