Eduardo’s return has lifted spirits, but can the Gunners secure fourth spot this season?
Comic provided exclusively by Studs Up
After eleven straight seasons of taking Champions League qualification as a matter of course, Arsenal now face the prospect of missing out on Champions League football in 2009/10.
Currently sitting in fifth place, the Gunners face stiff competition from Aston Villa (who know they must reach the prestigious European competition for the first time if they want to stop Gareth Barry trying to escape again) and Chelsea.
At this stage in 2005/06, Arsenal were in fifth place with 41 points, but managed to secure fourth spot by the end of the campaign. Can they do the same this season, or will Arsene Wenger fails to bring Champions League football to the club for the first time in over ten years?
