The legendary supermodel with a soft spot for French goalkeepers

Along with Naomi Campbell and Christy Turlington, supermodel Linda Evangelista dominated the world of fashion in the 1980s and 1990s. The infamous quote “We don’t wake up for less than $10,000 a day” fell from the Canadian’s lips in 1990, and she has been absolutely raking it for throwing fierce poses ever since.

She has romanced former Formula One star Paolo Barilla and Kyle MacLachlan, but earns WAG of the Day status for her tryst with former Manchester Utd shot stopper Fabien Barthes.

Known as ‘The Chameleon’ due to her ability to look completely different in very similar arty black and white photo shoots, Linda moved to Manchester to be with the crazy bald Frenchman, but they split on 2000.
