Thanks to his god-like status in Italy’s fashion capital, 190-year-old Paolo Maldini had his pick of Italy’s finest ladies. Despite the considerable home grown talent on offer in the boot-shaped nation, the AC Milan captain opted for Venezuelan beauty Adriana Fossa. The former model has been married to Maldini since 1994.

Before meeting Maldini in a Milanese nightclub, Adriana modelled for the likes of Versace and Cavalli. Since giving birth to the most likely future candidates for Milan’s number 3 shirt, the forty-year-old has involved herself in entrepreneurial and charity projects.
