Liverpool/Arsenal, Premier League, 8pm, Sky Sports 1

With Steven Gerrard still out injured, the main point of contention is whether Lucas should keep his place. We’ve decided that Yossi Benayoun is the better option and would also opt for Daniel Agger over Martin Skrtel, who hasn’t impressed us as much recently as he did earlier in the season:

that looks good, might change insua for aurelio as he looked ghreat when i saw him against blackburn. would like to keep agger as he is maybe a little more mobile and arsenal move the ball around quickly

Spot on formation and team selection.

I have always seen Benayoun in the place of Lucas. I think Lucas will be a great player in the future, but i think in the present time we need some clever football to out do Arsenal.

uhh . . . that should read “makeshift” though their performance on Drogba’s winning goal justifies the freudian slip.

I’d deffo play Yossi in the Stevie G role–he doesn’t have the Captain’s burst of speed but he seemed to link up well with Torres from the centre.

I think the Reds should play a fair bit of route 1 football to try and expose Arsenal’s makeshit centre-halves.

Should be a cracker and really hoping for three points and another few hours at the top of the table.

i agree, be direct, we desperatly need to start with a high tempo and with the kop roaring us on i can see us exposing there defence and going ahead early.

That’s a pretty good line-up. I’d like to see Babel in place of Kuyt; I just don’t understand Rafa’s recent snubs towards him. He constantly plays Kuyt, N’gog and El Zhar ahead of him, when he is clearly more talented than all three. How can he develop his talent on the bench?

    Spot on!

I’ll take Gerrard with only one leg over Kuyt.

Agree w/KiiNG though - Babel has great pace and control and deserves a first spot on pitch when injuries crop up.
