The Spoiler

Chelsea/Everton, Premier League, 8pm, Sky Sports 1

Chelsea are determined not to give up on the title and a win tonight will leave them just a point behind Liverpool. The Blues have drawn their last two home league games against Everton but we think this team could take three points:

The Spoiler’s Chelsea team to face Everton

The Spoiler would rest Michael Ballack for the upcoming away games with West Ham, who he destroyed at the Boleyn last season, and Barcelona. We would replace him with birthday boy Mikel and give Michael Essien more freedom going forward. Let us know who you would start with a comment.

“Chelsea are determined not to give up on the title”

Actually, Chelsea will make do finishing runner up again according to their Matt Damon doppelganger in the #13 shirt (that is, according to Sky Sports).

Why is it that everytime I look at these, Ballack is never included in the proposed line-up yet he always starts. It’s about time that you figure out that Ballack will always play.

Paddy, I don’t think The Spoiler are claiming to read Hiddink’s mind, merely suggesting who they would have started. Chelsea might as well have rested Ballack last night anyway, it wasn’t like he did anything!
