Brazilian to complete move to Spain within a week…
Florentino Perez will be formally installed as Real Madrid president on Monday, and will start shaking things up almost immediately. According to Spanish paper AS, Madrid will replace Juande Ramos with Villarreal manager Manuel Pellegrini on Tuesday. Apparently, their interest in Arsene Wenger has waned as the brainy Frenchman has failed to make contact with them.
On the new player front, Spanish football radio show El Larguero (”The Crossbar”) have claimed that Kaka will be unveiled at the Bernebeu next Thursday, with Los Blancos paying AC Milan €65m for the privilege. The theory is supported by Milan vice president Adriano Galliani, who admitted Kaka will imminently depart while on a recent trip to France.
The Uncle Fester-alike was in Bordeaux to try and convice on-loan attacking midfielder Yoann Gourcuff to return to the club, as a ‘replacement’ for the departing Brazilian. (Bordeaux have the option of buying Gourcuff for €15m at the end of his loan deal, and Galliani was trying to persuade them not to take it.)
If Madrid’s coffers are as big as they claim, the Kaka transfer shouldn’t affect Cristiano Ronaldo’s chances of a transfer to the Spanish capital. In fact, if Franck Ribery is Chelsea bound (as this morning’s newspapers suggest), then his chances of playing in La Liga will be greatly improved.

I am a Madrid fan. A lot of that has to due with the fact that the best Hungarian football players of all time, Ferenc Puskás, played there. I am Hungarian thus it is so I love Real Madrid…
I am excited about Kaka joining the squad. He is a very talented player, he is also a true believer in Jesus Christ. I am Christian and thus I love that shirt he strips to when he scores at times.
While I am please about Perez taking control again, I am saddened that you copied over the word Jesus in the picture of Kaka to replace it with Perez. Kaka may end up playing for Real Madrid and therefore in a way owned by Perez, but Kaka belongs to Christ not some president of a squad.
