As a man who is apparently willing to bet against his own success, Socceroos coach Pim Verbeek agreed to sing the Australian national anthem on television if his side qualified for South Africa 2010. The Dutchman lived up to his word, and gave a cringe worthy performance that left Aussie’s ‘rejuicing’ their success.

and later in the post match interview he couldnt find the words to say he had goose bumps, instead used the term ‘goose skin’

Also Guus Hiddink, who promised to shave his mustache if he would win the World Cup match in Tokyo with his team Real Madrid in 1999. And he did.
