The lovely lady who is to become Mrs Xabi Alonso

Liverpool midfielder and Jason Bateman-alike Xabi Alonso has been romancing Spanish actress Nagore Aranburu for bloody ages, and they will finally tie the knot next Saturday in the beautiful Basque province of Guipúzcoa. Despite living in un-wedded bliss for many years, the bride will wear white, which also happens to be the colour that Xabi could be wearing next season.

Nagore caused unrest between Alonso and Rafa Benitez in the 2007/08 campaign, when she selfishly decided to give birth to their son Jontxu during a Champions League campaign, causing Alonso to miss a crucial tie with Inter Milan.
