Easy one for Portugal- I don’t like the seeded system. It would be fair for it to be random.

Think you’ll find the second legs on the 18th and not the 19th. Come on Ireland!

How can you get this so wrong? Surely these are World Cup Play-offs, not European Qualifiers, whatever that means. And the dates, surely thats a basic thing you can’t get wrong, or apparently you can.

After Greece it was the draw we wanted over here…France are a group of individuals - not a team! Reckon we can use the saturday nite Croker Roar nick a single goal victory and we’re well able to hold them off in Paris - afterall we did it under Kerr, and we’re better now! COME ON IRELAND!!!!!

In fairness when he says they’re the European Qualifiers he’s right, they’re the European Qualification leg of the World Cup. Thats what they were labeled as on the FIFA site earlier.

FAI guy expressed as preference for France before the draw. Kinda get his point as Ireland tend to hit top form against the better sides and France are a shambles under Domenech. It’ll be hard with away game 2nd, anyone know if its Croke or is Lansdowne Road ready…??

Just saw the Croke Park pose. I’m going 2-1 Ireland in 1st leg followed by 1-1 draw in 2nd leg with a Kilbane 90th minute equaliser sending Ireland through!! It can’t be any worse than the play off against Holland a few years back that was thoroughly depressing. COME ON IRELAND!!

Bosnia will be tough for Portugal. They have some tidy players and will be very physical

Shoulda been 1 vs. 8, 2-7 etc. matching them based upon their final point standings for qualification but…
