We’re on the march with Rafa’s army
To the causal observer, a list of Liverpool’s troubles right now would probably begin with an unusually cruel injury list. Next would be their manager’s inability to purchase any useful players since Fernando Torres, and then a close third would be Rafa’s failure to produce a single young player of note since he arrived.
So no prizes for guessing what 10,000 Liverpool fans will be taking to the streets to whinge about on Sunday afternoon - the owners of course. “They haven’t built our new stadium” - although most fans want to stay at Anfield. “They don’t give Rafa enough money” - well they gave him £40m for Dossena, Keane, Babel and Riera so would you shell out any more in their position? “They must sell up now” - the Americans are trying their hardest to shift the club.
Still, why let a valid argument get in the way of a good afternoon’s whining up at Anfield? Walk on indeed…

The Americans are not trying their hardest to shift the club, and it appears you fundamentally misunderstand a huge deal of the back story to what’s going on at Anfield at the minute.
Still, why let a valid argument get in the way of a snipe at a club in the name of ‘humour’, eh?

How very lazy of you not to check that Rafa bought Johnson after Torres. He also recouped money on Keane (a Parry deal) and has produced at least one player of note - Insua.
In fact he has only just overseen the academy in the last 18 months - so we can’t expect miracles yet. Wenger has had years bringing youngsters through.

What an intelligent article this is. You wouldn’t happen to be a Man Utd fan would you? By the way you have written this without any facts to back it up shows you are a McUtd fan.
It’s my first time on this site and it will definatly be the last YAWN oops sorry i meant YNWA

Dont listen to them son, keep this up and one day your get your dream job working for the Sun.
Now if I wanted to read something intelligent and hard hitting I would go to a real football website. So why dont you just put up some more pictures of Danille Loyd or whoever else Jermain Defo is getting drunk enough to sleep with him like a good little boy.

Mikey - Glen Johnson at £18m is not a good signing. And Insua is not as good as Stephen Warnock, the man he kicked out to make way.
And thespoiler supports St Mirren

“And Insua is not as good as Stephen Warnock” what an idiotic comment. I laughed so hard i nearly peed.

If there’s one thing that makes fridays more bearable, its scouse baiting. Good article and it didn’t take long for them to bite! And no, I’m not a top 4 or even prem supporter…….

PS Although Insua may be good on football manager, he is shit in real life and I bet rafa is regretting shifting warnock amongst other things..

OK, I am a liverpool fan, but am also objective.
This is a bit of a stupid article, very anti-Liverpool. The club really does have its problems but the article is wrong on so many points, very poor work, I expect better.

Whatever. “The Americans” have been set up to fail. Liverpool may have some points and frustrations, but I love how they have invested ridiculous amounts of money, and have experience in financing major sports franchises, yet are being pushed around by some fans that want one thing and contradict it with another… What has Benetiz wanted that he hasn’t received?
And fuck your stadium idea, it was stupid and pointless to begin with and you ask a true fan and they don’t want it anyways… that actually is a fact.

More moronic shit shovelling from ‘The Spoiler’..surprise, surprise.
Have any of your ‘writers’ ever heard of research or is your tripe written by 1000 chimps at a 1000 typewriters?
Boring, unfounded, unresearched bawbag of an article.

Wow. I remember the days when The Spoiler published humorous articles about football.
But now we’ve got the attempted bashing of Aquilani before he has even played and the recommendation of watching Utd Reserves ahead of the Europa League.
Perhaps it would be better to just stick to the normal Spoiler-type articles that worked so well for Ryan? Ok, you might not get that job at The Sun, but at least you won’t look like a bitter cunt.
P.S. Insua is an Argentinian International at only 20, might want to think about that.
P.S.S. I wonder if you can magic up any young players that Chelsea & Utd have produced of note since Rafa has been at Liverpool.

Will The Spoiler be revealing how many death threats it received over this article? Or are that lot too busy polishing their boots for Sunday’s march?

Errr…. what big injury list is this. I think they have 3 players who could be considered regular first teamers out. Some clubs like Birmingham have about 8 players in that category out.
If you want a Liverpool story you could contrast the protest march with the way the new owners were welcomed when they first arrived.
Or 20 years since they last won the league.
