Jimmy Bullard Goal Celebration
Never underestimate the power of a well constructed football celebration. It can tell you a lot about a player. Alan Shearer famously adopted the no fuss one-arm-wave - a simple, rather boring gesture that some less forgiving MOTD viewers might argue encapsulates the man.
Robbie Keane sometimes does a roly poly, then shoots the audience with an invisible gun. And until Fergie had a go at him, Nani used to do a spot-on Greg Louganis impersonation.
None of those, however, would make The Spoiler top three, all of which are listed after the jump, followed by a fun collection of impressive post-goal performances from years gone by.
Peter Crouch, “The Robot”
Robbie Fowler, “Line Snort”
Paul Gascoigne, “Dentist’s Chair”

Bullard’s one was very well orchestrated and timely. But nothing beats Gazza’s Miss Cleo-like prediction of how he’d be spending his 40’s.

Have you noticed that Robbie Keane has now retired the Flipping-El-Pistelero routine and has now adopted a Statue-of-Christ-The-Redeemer pose whenever he scores? Looks good when it’s an important goal but he did look a bit of plonker when he first unveiled it….a penalty against Stoke (Stoke!) or some such.
