Footballer, great father, tour guide…

Some might argue that anyone willing to part with £10,000 to have John Terry slowly circulating a training pitch, occasionally pointing to things and half-heartedly saying “goal”, “tree”, “Lampsie”, probably deserves to get stung.

But in actuality, it’s JT himself who looks set to have chunks taken out of him for setting up these thrilling walk-abouts.

The whole sorry mess was revealed in the weekend’s News of the World - quite possibly by the same crew of undercover journalists who scored a headrush from Terry snr in some pub toilets not so long ago.

And while Chelsea appear to be fighting their skipper’s corner, the word from today’s Daily Mail is that Fabio Capello - the highest paid manager going to the World Cup - is absolutely livid to hear about such money-grabbing greed from a footballer.

He may yet find his armband credentials under serious scrutiny.

Further shocking news in the same article reveals that Terry was named Dad of the Year in 2008, even though he’s barely at home during the weekends.

mate, get your facts straight. 80% of the cash was for charity. now if rich idiots want to pay 10k for JT to point at “goal”, “tree”, “Lampsie”, then it’s all well and good with me as long the money goes to a good cause.
