Terry and Bridge - not laughing now…
When you’ve just had your heart ripped from your chest, then dropped from a motorway bridge into the path of an oncoming juggernaut carrying explosives, it’s easy to fall into a cycle of moping, weeping, smashing things up, tweeting bits of homemade poetry, and shock vomiting.
But, believe it or not, this John Terry-shaped cloud looming over Wayne Bridge might actually have a silver lining. He’s had a pretty bad season so far, but the increasing sympathy vote might yet cause an upsurge in popularity, and then, hopefully, form. A hunch suggests that every single bone-crushing Bridge tackle from now on will be - in his mind’s eye at least - on John Terry.
Already a few City players have had “Team Bridge” tops made up - much in the same vein as the Jordan/Peter Andre debacle - and now is time to pledge YOUR allegiance. “Team Bridge”? Or “Team Terry”? Let us know with a vote and a comment.

I understand Terry’s done wrong but it should not affect he’s captaincy with Chelsea or England, just cause he’s a footballer and earns lots of money it gives people the right to slate him at every opportunity, he would probably be the first to admit he’s done wrong but he’s got to live with the fact he has probably spilt his family up and I think that’s punishment enough!!

What a load of old tosh, so, JT has had a bit of extra marital curriculum, yeah, naughty boy n’ all that - yawn, it’s not like he’s the first and certainly won’t be the last, but this was with Wayne Bridge’s ex, no?? I identify the operative word here being, ‘ex’, what’s all the fuss about as far as WB is concerned?? In fact, what’s all the fuss about fullstop??

Maybe because she’s the mother of Bridges child? And he’s a fellow England team-mate and supposed good friend of John Terry… Is that how you treat your friends??
Terry is meant to be the leader of an England dressing room… how can he do that when over half will probably have no respect for him anymore? And if Bridge is in the squad, that task will become even more impossible.

Shouldn’t we be more concerned about his wife and kids, though? In the end it isn’t just England’s dressing room that’s going to bear the brunt of this scandal.

I agree with Imran, if I was in the team I wouldn’t want him around my missus, and you’re not going to accept him telling you what to do when you’ve got such an easy come back.
Next up, Wayne Rooney to break his toe, Owen called back into the England squad and we’ll be just about ready to fuck another World Cup.

Why should he be singled out, they are all the same
ding the same. Not many are are innocent of his
offence. Just look back over the years,he’s just
repeating whats been going on plus other offences
over the years and years to come. Verdict-too
much money. It will be hard to replace a new England Captain , not too many have perfect records.

Hi well first off… I am a die hard Chelsea fan, Secondly this whole thing just kind of doesnt really give me alot of respect for JT, On the football pitch i love him to pieces couldn’t be a more reliable person but as a captain of our football team everyone can speculate and say “Ooh but thats not him inside the pitch”… My Personal opinion on this is, If you make stupid mistakes in your life what stops you doing it in your career you have to be ‘MATURE’ to be a captain and with JT’s choices in his life i dont think anyone can say he is… He hasn’t just let his wife down AGAIN! But he has also let his Football club down destroyed the clean image and changed fans minds.

get rid of him, he is selfish & too money oriented. if he wasn’t a footballer he would be a con artist !

John Terry is good at his job, he’s one of the best players England have had for the last 10 years or so. People soon forgave David Beckham for his fling with Rebecca Loos, people soon forgave Wanye Rooney for sh*gging old ladys etc, so why shouldn’t people think of the good things Terry can bring to the England team and not always the bad.
