Taarabt - low blow
The big news from today’s showbusiness desks is that Sarah Harding from Girls Aloud has become more ladylike. They know this because she has a “grown up” hairstyle, and managed to navigate an entire nightclub without once grabbing herself and gurning at photographers. They grow up so fast, these pop stars.
Here’s what else we know, thanks to the likes of The Mirror, The Daily Mail, The Telegraph, The Sun etc…
Adel Taarabt - formerly the “new Zidane” - has decided to drive a metaphorical knife into Tottenham hearts by saying this:
“I was going to go to Arsenal and Comolli was there with Wenger.”.
“But he went to Tottenham so I went there. That was a big mistake for me.”
“My friends in England - like Armand Traore and Abou Diaby at Arsenal - told me Tottenham were not the right fit for me.”
The Morrocan, now on loan at QPR, is presumably being extra-cruel to ensure a summer transfer. But where to?
“I hope to be playing for one of the top four in Spain next season - Real Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia or Sevilla.”
Yeah, good luck with that.
On the bright side for Spurs, the whisper filtering into the streets from all of the finest football salons is that Aaron Lennon could be back as soon as next month’s Chelsea match. Great news for England too, no doubt.
Whilst, over in Chelsea - where Louis Vuitton wallpaper is very much the order of the day - plans are being hatched to unite the terrifying Drogba/Torres dream strike partnership for next season.
Word has it that they are ironing £50million in ruffled notes, and rolling up their suit sleeves, preparing to do serious business with Liverpool.

Playing for a top four side in Spain? Haha, you’ve got a lot to learn sonny. Playing for QPR and unlocking low-grade defenses does not a great player make.
Look at Keano in the SPL and the SPL is on a par or better than the Chumpionship.

Lol so shockingly poor that he doesn’t make it anywhere near the Spurs starting XI with significant injuries already depleting the midfield and he says this crap.
Guess what? You couldn’t play for Arsenal either, Adel.
Generally players who want to play at the top of the game have to PASS THE BALL TO THEIR TEAMMATES.
Taarabt has talent. He’s also got just about the worst understanding of the game I’ve ever seen in a young player. He reads the game like a 10 year old - and not a good one either.
