  We shouldn’t be in this position. Can anyone name a bigger club outside the top four? Spurs? don’t make me laugh….. they spent £100m in the last 12 months and are still annual relegation battlers. We should be winning leagues and cups not battling for survival. We are down lads and its difficult to see an instant return.

  Spurs play better football than Newcastle. Always have. We finished 5th two season on the trot before Daniel Levy pressed self-destruct.

  And ofcourse we spent big money. That’s what big clubs do.
