Scorned beauty can’t seem to part with ill-fated jewellery

Poor old Amii Grove. Not only did her heart-warming fairytale romance with ‘Kop Love Rat’ Jermaine Pennant come to an end on New Years Eve (read all about the graveyard proposals and CCTV infidelities here), but her attempts to cash in on her devastation were thwarted by an eBay saboteur. The Brummie beauty attempted to sell the £38k engagement ring given to her by Pennant on the auction site, but things didn’t quite work out.

Undeterred by this ominous dose of karma, Amii re-listed the ill-fated piece of jewellery here, but as you can see, it failed to reach its reserve.

As the old saying goes, however, you can’t keep a good topless model down. Amii has now relisted the ring for a third time, with a lower reserve price, but it has yet to attract any bids.

Jermaine, if your reading this, do us all a favour and put a bid on the ring. Not only will it put your former lover out of her online auction-based misery, but you’ll have something familiar to give to current plaything Jennifer Metcalfe. Who knows, maybe she could put it on eBay one day too…

BAD NETIQUETTE UPDATE: Well look who stole completely coincidentally discovered our story just a few hours after we posted.

With infidelities on CCTV cameras, proposals in graveyards and affairs with Hollyoaks stars, the relationship between Portsmouth’s Jermaine Pennant and Page Three girl Amii Grove had all the hallmarks of a classic love story.

The fairytale romance, however, reached its conclusion for the third and final time on New Years Eve. Subsequently, Amii decided to profit from her pain by putting her £38k engagement ring on eBay.

Unfortunately, things haven’t turned out as planned.

The Spoiler checked back on the eBay listing to see how much was paid for the unlucky ring, and found that it had reached the princely sum of £20,502 from 13 bids. The winner’s ID was kept private, but a look at her feedback profile reveals

For the past few years, the romance between Page Three girl Amii Grove and Jermaine Pennant has been a little ‘tumultuous’. The blonde beauty dumped the ‘Kop Love rat’ in 2007 after she caught him doing it with another lady on his own CCTV security system, but took him back late last year when he proposed to her in a graveyard.

The engagement, however, ended recently and Pennant has fled back to his former love, Hollyoaks star Jennifer Metcalfe. In order to cast aside the painful memories, she has decided to sell her £38k diamond engagement ring on eBay.

The 2.05 carat ring, which has received bids of £20,502 at the time of writing, appears to have been posted by Amii on her personal eBay account. Unfortunately,

Trying to keep up to date with Jermaine Pennant’s love life is like like trying to keep up with a Formula One car on foot.

Here’s the story so far: In 2007, the Portsmouth loan star was living with Page Three girl Amii Grove, until she caught him rutting another lady on his own CCTV cameras.

Soon after, the drink driving fan hooked up with Jennifer Metcalfe, also known as the  unscrupulous Mercedes McQueen in Hollyoaks.

The couple soon split, at which point Pennant proposed to former flame Amii Grove in a graveyard. Despite causing £200,000 worth of damage when she orginally split with him, the topless model agreed to be his wife.

Things didn’t work out with his Page 3 fiance, and they split last month.

Now, The Daily Mail report that the Hollyoaks hottie is giving Pennant yet another try:

Footballer Jermaine Pennant was back in the arms of Hollyoaks actress Jennifer Metcalfe on Valentine’s Day, shortly after splitting from page three model Amii Grove.

Jermaine called of his engagement with Amii, admitting he ‘couldn’t give her what she wants’.

The pair were seen together holding hands and queuing to get into the Funky Buddha nightclub in London’s plush Mayfair.

Thinking about this bizarre love triangle too much is enough to cause a brain aneurysm, so we’ll let Daily Mail commenter Adam sum things up: “They’re all as stupid as each other..I just hope they never breed.”

The Liverpool FC crime spree continues

Just a few weeks after young Brazilian Lucas Leiva had his home ransacked, Jermaine Pennant became the ninth Liverpool player to suffer at the hands of thieves in the past two years.

Ram-raiders, apparently hell-bent on relieving the winger of some of his flash cars, smashed a stolen Land Rover into the gates of his £3m Cheshire mansion in the middle of the night.

The thieves got away without a single purloined automobile, but the incident clearly shocked Pennant so much that he ended up posing for photos still wearing his jammies.
