The Spoiler heads north to check out The Glass Spider, but don’t tell Roy Keane

In the abyss of hotspots where Premier League footballers and WAGs of mixed repute head to get drunk/ steamrollered, a shaft of light has fallen on a venue named ‘The Glass Spider’. This ain’t your usual celeb hangout – there’s no paparazzi hounding the exits, no John Terry pissing on the floor, and, perhaps most shockingly, it isn’t located in the capital.
