Stroppy striker still keen on ‘dream move’

Following Tottenham’s uninspired loss in the north east at the weekend, Dimitar Berbatov has employed a Cristiano Ronaldo-style media campaign to earn himself a move to the current European Champions: ‘No one can disagree with me wanting to follow my dream,’ he said.

Having a striker who clearly isn’t 100 per cent committed to the cause will be troubling in the eyes of many Spurs fans, yet losing another striker (and relying on the likes of Darren Bent) could be highly damaging for the campaign of a team with fifth place aspirations.

So, should Ramos and co free the stroppy striker from his increasingly untenable position before the transfer window closes in a fortnight (assuming that Fergie still wants him, that is), or should they make him ride it out the remaining two years of his four year contract at White Hart Lane?
